I want to encourage you, there is hope and a way through.
I support adults who feel overwhelmed, chronically anxious, disconnected from themselves, or weighed down by unresolved experiences and burdens they have carried for years. Many struggle to feel seen or understood and have felt alone in their pain. They often find themselves overthinking, second-guessing their choices, or struggling to show up in relationships and everyday life in ways that feel true to who they are.
For many, these struggles did not arise in isolation. Important emotional experiences such as being understood, learning to express needs, setting boundaries, and feeling safe to be themselves may not have been consistently nurtured or modelled growing up. As a result, many adults find themselves trying to navigate life without having received the support they needed. These patterns are often shaped by emotionally painful or confusing relationships, including emotional neglect, narcissistic abuse, family scapegoating, and other forms of relational trauma.
I offer specialized therapy for adults (18+) who are navigating:
What therapy with me is like
We begin by slowing things down and making sense of what you’ve been carrying and why it still shows up in your life.
In sessions, we pay attention in real time to what happens inside you as we talk: overwhelm, shutdown, emotions, and the protective patterns that once helped you cope but now show up when things feel unsafe or uncertain. We work gently and directly with these experiences as they arise.
Alongside this, we focus on building what may have been missing: understanding yourself more deeply, learning to express needs, set boundaries, feel emotionally safer, and relate to yourself and others in more secure and authentic ways.
I draw from EMDR, ERP, attachment-based therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and nervous system–informed approaches, always adapted to you and not a method you have to fit into.
You can expect a steady, compassionate space where you don’t have to hold everything together. Where what feels confusing or intense can be slowed down, understood, and met with care instead of pressure or judgment.
I also offer counselling from an accepting Christian perspective if that is something you want included.
Therapy works best when there is a sense of honest connection and genuine care for what you’re going through. I offer a free 15-minute consultation so we can explore whether working together feels like the right fit for you.
All sessions are offered online.
Please note that I do not provide formal diagnoses. Instead, our work focuses on understanding your experiences, patterns, and emotional responses in a collaborative and supportive therapeutic process.
I am unable to provide legal advice, court reports, or third-party reports.
I do not provide crisis services. If you are in immediate danger, experiencing active suicidal crisis, or if a child is at immediate risk, please contact emergency services or a local crisis line right away.
The support I offer is for adults (18+) in individual therapy.
I do not offer couples or family therapy.
