When it comes to addressing fear and anxiety, I offer a compassionate and effective approach. I understand the urgency in wanting it to stop or 'go away'. Together we can explore options including coping/calming skills, new responses, resolving negative beliefs, problem-solving, desensitizing triggers, emotional regulation, and/or exposure therapy. Sometimes deeper work is required to address underlying issues and create safety.
For those experiencing reoccurring nightmares, I offer dream rescripting and reprocessing to heal the underlying themes and unresolved roots.
When anxiety reaches an overwhelming level and stays that way for prolonged periods of time, distressing thoughts can loop endlessly, making it nearly impossible to enjoy life.
